James Daniel Bishop (born July 1, 1964) is an American attorney and politician who served as a U.S. representative from North Carolina from 2019 to 2025. He is a member of the Republican Party. He served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2017 and the Mecklenburg County Commission from 2005 to 2009. He served in the North Carolina State Senate from 2017 to 2019.

In December 2024, Donald Trump nominated Bishop to serve as the Deputy Budget Director at the Office of Management and Budget.
